A new study finds that eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia relate to fertility problems; unwanted pregnancies and negative attitudes toward pregnancy.

A team at King’s College London and UCL studied 11 088 women from Avon, England. In the study, women who are lifetime anorexia and bulimia were compared with the general group to assess the impact of their eating disorder attitudes, fertility problems, and pregnancy.

This survey revealed that a higher proportion of women with a history of anorexia and bulimia have more time 6 months to become pregnant than the general population is far from an eating disorder.

The conclusion also revealed that women who have anorexia and bulimia are twice as likely to receive treatment during pregnancy than the general population.

But when asked at the age of 8 weeks of pregnancy, women with anorexia are more likely to report that the pregnancy he gets an unwanted pregnancy. The number reached 41.5 percent compared with 28.6 percent of women without eating disorders.

In general, the majority of respondents reported feeling happy when getting pregnant. But eating disorders were negatively influence feelings that haunted her during pregnancy.
